Quarterly meeting of the Coalition held in Trebevic
Members of Coalition for Freedom of Expression and Content Moderation in Bosnia and Herzegovina held their quarterly meeting last week in Trebevic to focus on coalition building and planning of activities for the year ahead.
Sixteen members of the Coalition attended the two-day meeting dedicated to the Coalition’s goals and mission and to framing a comprehensive work plan and agenda for the year. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions on internal communication rules and task allocation. The session also highlighted the importance of addressing obstacles and opportunities in collaborating with social media representatives.
Second day of the gathering was dedicated to an advocacy workshop led by Bojana Kostic, a consultant for Article 19, and Victoire Rio from What to Fix. They shared insights on existing models of cooperation with social media platforms and led the participants in the discussion of key issues concerning content moderation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and communication with social media platforms, as well as in the design of the Coalition’s Annual Advocacy Plan.
